DIY art is on Facebook, links to photos
Trying to find other photos from DIY it turns out that there is a Facebook group. Should have been obvious but there it is.
Links to loads of photos, maybe more video later. This is working out well. I have added my own ones, including how to find it.
Water Lane is behind the canal, find the Welcome Inn and it is not much further.
Meanwhile my Tweets with C_Chilvers_Phot are getting more productive
@will789gb I never realised the "DIY" exhibition was so big http://cot.ag/c4q4Kg How are the social media pursuits? #art

I did actually meet him at the Boston Tea Party recently. He understands Foursquare and is mayor of several places but we managed to arrange a meeting just by Tweet. Not sure he finds each Tweet I send so there may be repeats. Basic theme is how to expand awareness of DIY through social networking. The next #likeminds has a focus on film and music but maybe this is just too easy. The issues are around copyright for sample content. There are often clips of film and music convention allows a track or two to be copied. But so far image rights in galleries are often more closely protected. I can't see how social networking could work with visual content unless this changes.
Quick, get to DIY soon before the gallery has a preservation order and things change.
Or, always possible, other galleries observe and adapt.
